Miranda B. Smith, MD
After her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the prestigious Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, Dr. Smith completed her Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine fellowship training at Rutgers University New Jersey Medical School. In addition to Dr. Smith’s expertise in non-surgical spine care and musculoskeletal medicine, she has advanced training and experience in the latest diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound as well as ultrasound guided injection techniques.
Dr. Smith has maintained a strong interest in teaching and in clinical research. She has presented original research at multiple national conferences and served as an instructor in physical examination, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and electrodiagnostic (EMG) courses.
Dr. Smith received her medical degree from New York Medical College and graduated magna cum laude from Macalester College with a degree in biology. Dr. Smith is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
