Alan Wittert, PT, DPT

Dr. Alan Wittert is a graduate of the physical therapy program at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center. An avid weightlifter with a passion for orthopedic physical therapy, Alan incorporates strength training principles, pain science education and hands-on manual therapy techniques to help facilitate his patient’s recovery. Alan has experience treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions in both the hospital and private practice settings. His practice style draws influence from the Mulligan and McKenzie methods, with a background in active release technique. He is certified in the McKenzie method part A-Lumbar Spine, and Part B–Cervical/Thoracic spine.
